Hypocrisy Live At Summerbreeze 2002
About to spend the next hour watching this. Such a great band.
I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely amazing Vortex’s voice is. This is definitely one of my favorite Dimmu Borgir songs and I’m pretty sure every time I get to that last bit at the end every hair on my body stands on end. Goosebumps of awesomeness. Take time out of your day to remember Vortex’s voice and get a dose of black metal.
I have this DVD but I’m watching it on youtube anyways. I’m sure many of you have not seen an Amon Amarth DVD so here’s your chance to improve your life.

Part 4
Part 5
Honestly, I fucking hate the idiots who think releasing a trailer for a music video is a good idea. I can’t remember what song it was, but there were I think 6 or 7 trailers for this one music video by Sonic Syndicate and the final result fucking sucked ass anyways. They lost a TON of respect and fans after that bullshit. That band died anyways.
At least TBDM is fucking awesome and this video seems like it’ll be entertaining. I hope it has that TBDM style, kind of like Necropolis.
It’s Hour of Penance, of course it’s brutal. Sounds like this album is going to sound absolutely incredible.
This is preeeeeeeeeeetty sweet. You never find videos like this, let alone even know or hear about a band doing this. This 13 year old kid was holding up a sign asking the band to let them play Aesthetics of Hate with a 13 year old, so they did. Rob hands his guitar over to this kid and lets him play all the leads, cleans, and harmonized solos.
Man this band is fucking cool! Listen to this shit. It’s melodic death metal that makes you feel like you’re riding a dragon.
This is a pretty good video. It’s about how all types of metalheads are judged, especially the scene/emo crowd. Why deathcore fans are so judged instead of people who listen to thrash or straight death metal? Lots of interesting things said in this, and many of them I have thought of myself.
Johan and Olavi give some details about their axes, picking, type of music they play, and they do it while seeming insanely awkward. It’s kind of funny to watch, but still very useful and informative. All I want to say though is at least watch up through Olavi talking about why downpicking is more brutal. His demonstrations are just great.
On a side note, definitely learning War of the Gods on guitar now.
So this is Danny Johnson, and I’ve been following him for years due to his success in Guitar Hero. I’m actually a Guitar Hero convert, as that game is what made me want to actually play real guitar. This video is pretty sweet because he nails every note in the game and dominates the song on real guitar as well. Really cool to watch.
Oh, and this song is badass. Fuck yeah Megadeth!
haha, I don’t even know what they’re saying but it’s catchy and the video is entertaining. The end is pretty badass too. Can’t wait to see them on tour next year in the US!
