Now THIS is awesome.  It’s just a small clip from what seems to be the 2010 Mayhem Festival with Cannibal Corpse playing.  There is a handicapped person in an electric wheelchair in a mosh pit.  I think he’s seriously redefining the term “circle pit.”

Please, find ANY other genre of music where someone with a disability like this man can have this much fun.

This lineup… it’s just… like wtf.  Someone had to die at that concert.

Summer Slaughter 2012 Tour Dates
I could have sworn Fallujah was on this tour but maybe not. I still stand by what I said a while back regarding Periphery because they’re definitely the odd band out this year. Not that it’s a bad thing, because it’ll be refreshing to have them play in the middle of everyone else.
Now when you see these dates I wouldn’t get too angry if they aren’t coming to your city based on this list. There’s a few areas where it seems like there’s a lot of time/distance between shows, such as June 31 in Fort Lauderdale then not playing until August 8 in NYC. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is another date (hell, maybe 3-5) added within that timerange. Hopefully we’ll see some more dates added (finalized?) in the near future.
UPDATE: Blah blah blah, the official and finalized dates were released a little bit ago.

After listening to this album maybe 4 times I deemed this as my favorite song on the album. It’s nonstop death metal in the sense that the song is fairly consistent throughout. In other words, it’s not fast then slow, or vice versa, granted the end is a bit speedy. It’s simply straight headbanging material, the kind that makes you want to drink some beer.  Plus it has a nice eerie solo, though I wish it was a tad longer.

And the best metal show of the year will be in… Cincinnati, Ohio

Someone had given me the heads up on tour dates for the 2012 Torture Tour (tour dates can be found here) and I would like to bring some real recognition to the April 14th date in Cincinatti, Ohio.

If you are within a reasonable driving distance it is very likely that this will be THE #1 show of the year. Why? It’s one of 2 dates on the Torture Tour that is in combination with another tour as well.  Cannibal Corpse, Exhumed, Abysmal Dawn, and Arkaik will be teaming up with The Black Dahlia Murder, Skeletonwitch, Nile, and Hour of Penance by doing a joint show.  Seriously, America will not have a more brutal show in 2012.  It’s not really possible unless some of these bands get together again in combination with another tour, because this much metal never tours together unless it’s for a huge tour such as Summer Slaughter (which has CC, BTBAM, and The Faceless confirmed so far).

Cannibal Corpse, Exhumed, Abysmal Dawn, and Arkaik band together for the US Torture Tour
This is a pretty badass lineup, especially with Arkaik tossed on there. All the bands are great and this is some really good death metal that will be going across America. For tour dates check Cannibal Corpses tour tab on Facebook.
Also I am slightly unhappy that this isn’t going to be in my backyard in Cleveland, but that’s ok. Arkaik is a REALLY good band that needs more recognition, so if you go to this tour make sure you get there in time for Arkaik. Awesome bunch of guys who have gotten a new drummer in the past few months, and their guitarist is also in Deeds of Flesh.

Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up

This is not Cannibal Corpse’s leaked song Demented Aggression. This is obviously the hit single by Rick Astley. There is no death metal here.

So a new Cannibal Corpse song was leaked today…
It’s called Demented Aggression. It was leaked late last night but Metal Blade records has been on top their game getting it removed from whatever site that had it. I seriously cannot find this thing anywhere on the internets.
That’s ok though because I have the song anyways. It comes on the CD that is in this months issue of Metal Hammer magazine, which is released to the public on Wednesday. Subscribers to the magazine got their copy early, and thus get to hear the song.
I must say, it definitely has a Frantic Disembowelment vibe to it. It’s fast and it’s crazy. I’m only slightly worried about posting it early because I don’t want Metal Blade up my butt about it if they found out.

Chris Barnes does a TV advertisement for Parks Auto Mall in Tampa Bay

This is hilarious and I cannot believe it’s actually real. hahahahaha

Corpsegrinder making a cameo at the 2011 Blizzcon live concert with Level 90 Epic Tauren Chieftan

Well, he mostly just does some backup growls and an insane amount of headbanging.  This makes me really wish I had gone now that I know he was going to be there! For the horde!

A Capella: Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face

Oh the internet is such a great place. What we have here is Dan-Elias Brevig performing an a capella cover of Hammer Smashed Face. I am more than impressed by his skill of going ddd ddd ddd ddddddddd and all the other songs he does covers of. Not just sissy music like Lady GaGa and Garth Brooks, but bands like Dream Theater and Periphery as well.

I still wouldn’t rate this better than the Vegan Black Metal Chef though.

If you don’t know who he is, what he’s done, and you’re a retard, check the tags.
