Cephalic Carnage - Megacosm of the Aquaphobics
MAN! I had no internet for 2 fucking weeks and that really fucking sucked. My tube is back on, so have some fucking brutal death metal.

Well, if you aren’t into extremely brutal death metal just keep on scrollin.
Origin, Cattle Decapitation, Decrepit Birth, Aborted, Rings of Saturn, and Battlecross will be cruising over North America slaying faces as they go. I would be especially pumped for Aborted as their new record Global Flatline is a hell an album. Battlecross is also a name that might not seem familiar but they’ve actually been signed to Nuclear Blast for some time now. When I first heard them last year I enjoyed the riffing that goes on in their songs.
As always, check out bands you haven’t heard of! Buy stuff from Amazon.com and support the bands you like. I’ll be updating this later when the full tour dates are released. Currently 3 dates are announced, though.
Taken from their 2007 full-length album Ikon
This song is fucking unreal. This song has so many amazing riffs and the song overall is absolutely bone crushing. I seriously cannot believe how heavy this band is. I haven’t listened to them in ages and I’m pretty ripped right now so I’m basically dying. GO listen to them. Make them come to America!
Guess they released a video even though their album isn’t close to coming out yet lol. This will definitely be a single from their upcoming album Global Flatline. This song is just so damn brutal.
Wow this is one fucking HELL of a song. God damn. It’s the opening track from their first full-length album Rise of the Rotten and this song will easily tell you that the album is going to be straight brutal death metal.
This is a song they recently released and it will be on their upcoming album Global Flatline which is set to release in 2012. This shit is so fucking brutal. It’s like a machine gun shooting you, but instead of bullets it’s sledgehammers.

Not gonna lie, that’s a pretty gross name for a song. That’s ok though because this shit is pretty fucking brutal. The riffs are definitely fierce in this song.
Taken from their extra goddamn brutal 2010 release titled Paradogma. This is by far my favorite song on the album. It’s right up my alley from front to back, and for some reason it makes me crave beer. I really can’t explain it…
If you’re looking for the next apeshit awesome death metal album to purcahse, here you go. Beyond Creation has been around about 6 years but just released a full-length studio album earlier this year. These dudes are insane Canadians that really slay. They are considered progressive death metal, but it just seems like straight brutal death and tech if you ask me. I can’t believe this went under my radar, but I guess they’re still really unknown.
Take a damn listen and fucking rage.
Taken from their 2009 album Souls of Damnation. Blood Red Throne is fuckin badass. This band is a real gem my brother found a while back and we both got hooked. It’s just so brutal and reminds me of Facebreaker. Out of all BRT songs this one definitely sits as my favorite. It’s mostly because of the riffs you hear in the beginning because they are so damn catchy.
Super salty mode: they played here in Cleveland on Wednesday night and I couldn’t go because I didn’t have the moolah. I never know if these Norwegian monsters will ever return now… god dammit. I mean I also missed Grave and Pathology, which blows, but I have seen Pathology twice and Grave is a pretty big name that might come through again… nah fuck it I’m just salty about the whole night.
SALTY
Just found this song, and god fucking damn. I am so fucking glad I get to see them this Sunday. It’s so classical, intense, and the female vocals are a goddamn eerie touch.
I am, once again, blown away.
This song was just released today and will be on their new album titled Agony. The album drops in North American on August 9th. This song is next level brutal death metal considering all the symphonic stuff in it. It’s fast as fuck and brutal as shit, while still remaining classical. The solo is incredible too.

Yes, it’s finally here. Origin’s new album is now available to purchase. And to quote my brother:
Another gem who is signed with Nuclear Blast. AOAA is a rather brutal group, so if you’re into really heavy things then check them out. If you like All Shall Perish then you’ll probably like AOAA. Make sure you click on the tag to check out their other album as well.
A bonus for you guys is that they have a tumblr page as well. http://aoaa.tumblr.com/ follow them and also take a gander at the tour dates on the right as they cruise around Europe!
http://mapofmetal.com is a VERY interesting site. Personally, as a person who seriously looks deep into metal, where it came from, and the history behind it I found this website as an excellent way to spend my Wednesday evening.
The map itself is designed in chronological order, using chains to separate periods of time. There is a legend as well for the 4 types of skulls you will see, and each depicts a different meaning such as a root of a genre, the various actual metal genres, and fusion genres. VERY VERY interesting stuff here folks. This is for true metalheads who find it as a passion and not just something to listen to.
Lastly, note that Brutal Death has nothing stemming from it. Probably because it would kill any genre that would come after it.
