This is amazing. I’m listening now and it’s really black metal sounding but it’s so melodic. It’s also viking themed which makes it even more badass. I wouldn’t say it’s evil sounding, but it’s definitely sweet to listen to. Spread the word on these guys!
Fucking awesome. This is basically black viking metal. Or some sort of melodic blackened viking metal with symphonic stuff added. Whatever the hell it is, I like it. I like it a lot. I’ve been hunting and listening to black metal a lot this evening and this is quite pleasant.

I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely amazing Vortex’s voice is. This is definitely one of my favorite Dimmu Borgir songs and I’m pretty sure every time I get to that last bit at the end every hair on my body stands on end. Goosebumps of awesomeness. Take time out of your day to remember Vortex’s voice and get a dose of black metal.
Symphonic black metal masters Carach Angren have a new release coming out soon! Yes! The album comes out May 18th but you can check out the link above from Amazon to hear some samples frome each song.
For those of you who are not familiar with Carach Angren, if you’re a fan of Dimmu Borgir then this is certainly right up your alley although Carach Angren sort of takes it to the next level as far as the symphonic/atmospheric aspect goes.
I’m still not a vegan, but I will continue to watch these and wish I had an ounce of real cooking skill in me.

Well this is todays big news! Motherfucking BEHEMOTH are going to actually come do a US tour with Watain, The Devil’s Blood, and In Solitude. Dates haven’t been released yet, but the tour is set for 26 different locations starting in April. WOW now this is some real fuckin black metal. Holy crap. You can tell that it’s seriously dark shit they’re singing about. The vibe of this song is so Norwegian forest I can’t even handle it right now.

I can’t find a goddamn place to buy this album. I’ve listened to it on youtube and it’s still just as gnarly as before. Azarath is a pretty fucking sick black metal band from Poland. Every band that gets from Poland to America is always sick. Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated, Hate, Azarath…
