Someone had given me the heads up on tour dates for the 2012 Torture Tour (tour dates can be found here) and I would like to bring some real recognition to the April 14th date in Cincinatti, Ohio.

If you are within a reasonable driving distance it is very likely that this will be THE #1 show of the year. Why? It’s one of 2 dates on the Torture Tour that is in combination with another tour as well.  Cannibal Corpse, Exhumed, Abysmal Dawn, and Arkaik will be teaming up with The Black Dahlia Murder, Skeletonwitch, Nile, and Hour of Penance by doing a joint show.  Seriously, America will not have a more brutal show in 2012.  It’s not really possible unless some of these bands get together again in combination with another tour, because this much metal never tours together unless it’s for a huge tour such as Summer Slaughter (which has CC, BTBAM, and The Faceless confirmed so far).

This is a pretty badass lineup, especially with Arkaik tossed on there. All the bands are great and this is some really good death metal that will be going across America. For tour dates check Cannibal Corpses tour tab on Facebook.

Also I am slightly unhappy that this isn’t going to be in my backyard in Cleveland, but that’s ok. Arkaik is a REALLY good band that needs more recognition, so if you go to this tour make sure you get there in time for Arkaik. Awesome bunch of guys who have gotten a new drummer in the past few months, and their guitarist is also in Deeds of Flesh.

Arkaik Seeks New Full-time Drummer!

The amazing azn drummer sensation Keith Roylance can no longer tour with them! Yes, he is the asian man crouched down wearing the Alliance shirt. As I always say, Arkaik is a sick band. If you’re interested you can read the full release below:

Hey Guys,

We are sad to say Keith Roylance will be leaving the band. We’d like to thank him for all his hard work and dedication to help get Arkaik where it is today. He will still be playing our upcoming shows, But due to his personal life he will be unable to tour with the band.

So! That leaves us looking for a new full time drummer. We are looking for a dedicated drummer that wants to tour and take Arkaik to the next level. You must have a passport and a clean record so we can tour outside of the country. Dedicated and passionate about the music and your craft. Not only do we want someone who can play our material but also someone who can add some new flavor and a sick jazz fusion style to the band amongst the brutality.

Deeds of Flesh know brutal death metal. As of 5 minutes ago, I just found out that they have a new guitarist, and it’s none other than Craig from Arkaik! Arkaik is an INCREDIBLE band, and now Craig will be joining Deeds of Flesh while still maintaining active in Arkaik. This is just sick news
