Someone had given me the heads up on tour dates for the 2012 Torture Tour (tour dates can be found here) and I would like to bring some real recognition to the April 14th date in Cincinatti, Ohio.

If you are within a reasonable driving distance it is very likely that this will be THE #1 show of the year. Why? It’s one of 2 dates on the Torture Tour that is in combination with another tour as well.  Cannibal Corpse, Exhumed, Abysmal Dawn, and Arkaik will be teaming up with The Black Dahlia Murder, Skeletonwitch, Nile, and Hour of Penance by doing a joint show.  Seriously, America will not have a more brutal show in 2012.  It’s not really possible unless some of these bands get together again in combination with another tour, because this much metal never tours together unless it’s for a huge tour such as Summer Slaughter (which has CC, BTBAM, and The Faceless confirmed so far).

This is a pretty badass lineup, especially with Arkaik tossed on there. All the bands are great and this is some really good death metal that will be going across America. For tour dates check Cannibal Corpses tour tab on Facebook.

Also I am slightly unhappy that this isn’t going to be in my backyard in Cleveland, but that’s ok. Arkaik is a REALLY good band that needs more recognition, so if you go to this tour make sure you get there in time for Arkaik. Awesome bunch of guys who have gotten a new drummer in the past few months, and their guitarist is also in Deeds of Flesh.

I asked the band a few things about the hoodie and this was their humble advice

If you are a wimp I would not suggest going to this show if it comes to you.  This 4 band lineup is going to be purely for the gnarliest metalheads, no doubt.  Abysmal Dawn already released their new album this year, Leveling The Plane of Existance, and Hate Eternal is releasing their new album soon enough, plus Origin is releasing their new album on July 7.  Lot of new music from really sick bands.  What would be lame is if Abysmal Dawn gets shit on by border patrol when trying to get into Canada again (see: Kataklysm’s Spread the Venom tour…)

Kataklysm, Decrepit Birth, Abysmal Dawn… all in the same night..

Check their tour dates here!. I’m pretty glad that the whole thing kicks off right here in Cleveland. I talked to their singer, Maurizio Iacono, when Ex-Deo was here and he said that the Peabody’s venue is one of their favorite ones in America!.

I’m just going to mention the fact that Decrepit Birth will NOT be on the first 13 shows of this tour due to legal issues with the drummer and  him not being able to go anywhere until a dispute is settled. -_-
